Chefs For Change 2016

Old man winter has finally arrived, with a vengeance, so if he is giving you a case of the blues Chefs for Change has the perfect way for you to deal with it, offering five incredible events throughout January, February and March.  Each night will feature some of Toronto-and Canada’s-top culinary talents collaborating on a four-course dinner, with themed cocktails by The Drake Hotel’s Sandy DeAlmeida, cool tunes by these guys  and other surprises guaranteed to make each event one of the highlights of your  winter’s social season.

The dinners will take place on January 21, February 8 , and March 3rd at Propeller Coffee, 50 Wade Ave, in Toronto. Note that five events are being held, but two of them have already sold out. Attending these is a great way to combine indulgence and altruism; net proceeds from the dinners go to support Community Food Centres Canada, a non-profit organization that brings people in low-income communities together to grow, cook, share, and advocates for healthy food for all.

The first of these events, themed “Grow” features the combined talents of the following chefs and good food providers:

This is the second year that Chefs for Change will be bringing us these events, and based on the success of last years events, they promise to be just as good if not better! In fact, as mentioned above, the dinners on Jan 28 and  Feb 25 already sold out, so if you are planning on going to any of the others, you should probably act soon!
