Two very important events are happening in the coming week and we thought we’d give you a heads up.
First up is the Sustainable Seafood Dinner at Parts & Labour on March 7th, this flyer pretty much says it all:All these fine gentlemen will be creating an incredible dinner featuring only sustainable seafood. So, if you’re a fan of shark fin soup and black tiger shrimp, maybe you should stay home.
If you’re more into the ladies, you should check out this amazing event that will be happening on March 8th at Mildred’s Temple Kitchen.
Recognize some of these chefs? Lynn Crawford, Donna Dooher and friends are coming together for a good cause. In collaboration with the inimitable Marion Kane, this event will feature some of Canada’s finest female chefs preparing a dinner to celebrate the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day and as a benefit for Sistering, a drop-in centre for homeless women.
Two incredible events that are only a day apart. Polish your shoes, call the babysitter and book a taxi. We’re coming out of the deep freeze of winter and it’s time to start hitting the town!
