This Sunday, September 30th, is a great day to help yourself to some great Southern comfort Food. From four p.m. until nine p.m., a merry busload of culinary adventurers will be touring the town and sampling some of the tastiest Southern vittles around.
Coupling with Toronto’s video restaurant guide, View the Vibe, the Culinary Adventure Company will be hosting the annual Ride and Go Feast, bussing two dozen lucky diners to finger lickin’ good spots to feast on amazing flavours of the Deep South, all the while being entertained by the wit and wisdom of the inimitable Scott Savoie, Toronto’s unofficial culinary ambassador and founder of the Culinary Adventure Company, since 2011 ranked Toronto’s number one tour company by Trip Advisor.
This tour is a mystery, you have to leave yourself to the whims of Chef Scott, but get in the right frame of mind by thinking about biscuits, barbecue and fried chicken, this is your chance to kick it Texas-style without leaving Toronto. So rustle up a pair of cowboy boots and a Stetson, its time to go Southern. And be sure to keep an eye on this site, we’ll be posting a new Step by Step Recipe video tomorrow featuring a healthy way to make fried chicken!
This unique fundraising activity presents a great opportunity to indulge in some extraordinary cuisine while taking the day off. Plus you are helping out your fellow man, since all profits will go to support the Daily Bread Food Bank.
Spots are limited so be sure to book your seats while there is still space available!
