The Green Living Show Hooks Up With OCTA

The Ontario Culinary Tourism Alliance will be part of this year’s Green Living Show, we spoke with OCTA’s director, Rebecca LeHeup, about what attendees can expect. 
What is OCTA’s involvement with the Green Living Show this year?

OCTA is excited to be participating in partnership with the Green Living Show to deliver the Ontario Culinary Adventure Pavilion. The pavilion and Foodland Ontario Culinary Stage are showcasing delicious tastes from across the province.

What are some of the things attendees can look forward to at the Green Living Show?
We’ve got Oxford County hightighting their new Cheese Trail with Gunn’s HIll Cheese and JP’s BBQ, Grey Bruce and the Apple Pie Trail are promoting their destination’s “taste of place” ingredients – apples and beef, Prince Edward County is bringing on a ploughman’s fare with Humble Bread and Portland Bridge Pickles. Niagara shines with Pingue’s prosciutto and Rosewood Estate’s mead. These are just a few of the tastes on offer – there will be Ontario Craft beers and s selection of Ontario wineries too!
Why do you think the Green Living Show is so important to the culture of our city?
We think the Green Living Show is a valuable consumer show that targets individuals committed to local and sustainable and we’re excited to be presenting nine destinations that deliver authentic, local and sustainable food, drink and travel experiences.
