Now hiring!

Want to work for an independent?

Fiesta Farms might look like any old grocery store at a glance. To some people. Who need new glasses. But we’re actually Toronto’s largest independently owned grocery store and garden centre.

What does that mean? It means we only have one store. But it’s a big one. “Largest” means we carry stuff you’d expect from a chain. “Independent” means we can choose to put special items on our shelves that people really care about. It means we have relationships with our customers, who tell us when they’d like something to improve and when they think we’re doing great.

Last but not least, it means we’re family owned and operated. And every once in a while, we need to extend that family. We’re not talking marriage here, just working together.

In case it needed to be said, please know that Fiesta Farms welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.

We’re now hiring part-time and full-time positions!

Deli Clerks

Do you have deli in your veins? Your time is now.

Fiesta Farms is hiring team members with sunny dispositions eager to help our swell customers select key cold cuts and fulfill their cheese fixes. Get up close and personal with local and international salamis and cheeses. Work with a small team of friendly folks at a community-oriented, family-run store in a great neighbourhood, two blocks from Christie subway station.

Logged time on a slicer? Know your way around Ontario artisan cheeses?
It’s not critical, but the experience is an asset, so let us know.

Full-time and part-time positions available.
People want cheese and deli weekends, so we work on weekends, too.

The Garden Center is hiring!

Role: General Labourer (Garden Gnome Extraordinaire)

Full-time + part-time.

We’re looking for friendly, approachable, confident hard-workers who can follow detailed instructions, work independently and/ or in group settings in a fast-paced environment. You’d be surprised, the Garden Centre gets pretty animated in the summer.

In case it’s a deal-breaker, we thought we’d let you know right away that you must be able to lift at least 30lbs. Garden stuff is heavy and besides stocking the floor, you’ll need to do things like help customers take their purchases to their cars.

The position is seasonal and stretches from April–July 1st, but there is the possibility of a full-time position in another department.

The right person for this gig will:

  • Enjoy working outdoors and in all weather conditions
  • Have a flexible enough schedule to work weekends, holidays, and possibly some evenings
  • Have a good command of the English language

You’ll be doing things like:

  • General maintenance
  • Watering plant material
  • Answering customer questions
  • Helping customers carry their purchases to their vehicles
  • Loading, unloading, displaying and stocking of products

Being a plant wiz is helpful but not mandatory. Same goes for retail experience.

Please note that:

  • Applications will not be reviewed until mid-March
  • Only those selected for an interview will be contacted

Please submit resumes via email at Or come drop it off in store!

Fiesta Gardens Job Fair!

On Tuesday, March 19th, visit us at the Store anytime between 9am – 1pm. Bring a resume or application with you and a green thumb if you’ve got one.

Arrived? Head in and to the back of the grocery store. Through the red doors. Up the stairs. You’ll find Chris and Mike at the top.

We said Job Fair, but it’s more like a treasure hunt – if you can find us, you get the job (kidding!).
