It’s Delightful, It’s Dewonderful, it’s Delicious Food Show!

If you like Delicious Food, and who doesn’t, this is your lucky weekend. The Delicious Food Show is back, and is bigger than ever, running today, tomorrow and Sunday, that’s October 25, 26 and 27 at The Better LivingCentre on the CNE grounds.

This is a major event in the food world, masterminded by the team that puts together the hugely popular One of a Kind Show and the Interior Design Shows, and it is back in Toronto for it’s second year.

Many of the industry’s brightest stars will be in attendance, including international superstars such as lifestyle guru and spunky jailbird Martha Stewart, as well as Food Network Canada luminaries including super-callipygous Chuck Hughes from Chuck’s Week Off, the gregarious and mischievous Lynne Crawford, chef at Ruby Watchco and star of Pitchin’ In, the sassy and unpredictable Nadia Giosa from Bitchin’ Kitchen, imperiously blue-eyed Top Chef Canada judge Mark McEwen, Dolce Vita’s heartthrob David Rocco of and everybody’s favourite boy next door, Michael Smith.

These superstars, and many more, will be giving lectures, demonstrating cooking techniques and signing cookbooks. Note: Martha Stewart will only be there today, so if you’re a big fan, leave now!

This year’s Delicious Food Show will not only feature many prominent personalities, but several hands-on interactive cooking demonstrations and a mini- chef’s challenge in support of Mt Sinai Hospital.

“New at DFS, a fleet of Toronto’s mobile kitchens congregate on the Better Living Centre show floor in support of Mount Sinai Hospital. Sandwich rebel Fidel Gastro, Latin-flavoured Gourmet Gringos, health-minded Gourmet Bitches, British fare Feisty Jack and seafood-filled Buster’s Sea Cove will be offering special menu items of which a portion the proceeds will be donated to Mount Sinai Hospital, in support of breast and ovarian cancer research and education”

If all this weren’t enough to get you out of your kitchen and into someone else’s, the exhibition features over 125 exhibitors

that have set up booths for you to browse in and paw at and chew the fat. Upscale Restaurants, international corporations like Cutco knives and conservation program’s to promote sustainable management of fishing and seafood, like Ocean Wise,  all will be vying for your attention while rubbing shoulders with local favourites like Neal Brothers Foods and the irresistible combination of  lobster and beer, courtesy of a can’t-miss pairing of Matt Pettit’s RockLobster   and Samuel Adam’s suds that just may steal the show.
