The old trope is that salad is no fun, it’s boring, it’s good for you – blech! Well, it’s about time you stop being a Neanderthal because summer is almost here and it’s the ideal time to get more salad in your life.

We’ve got a bunch of fun, new salad recipes to share with you. First off, let’s get all retro with layered salads, they look beautiful and can be done with fruit or vegetables. Boxing Day Brunch At Home

Having Christmas land on a Thursday is the best, especially if you have the 26th off, that means it is time for a Boxing Day Brunch and the star of the brunch should be a delicious stack of buttermilk pancakes. Rockin’ A Rice Milk Mustache

Most of us are creatures of habit, wary of trying new things, especially things we put in our bodies or the bodies of our kiddies. Milk, for example. It took me years to wriggle out from under the hoof of the dairy industry and I staunchly considered those who opted for soy lattes as yuppie scum.

But eventually, motivated by a desire for change and my own curiousity, I checked out the numerous alternatives to cow’s milk.  They are plenty, and they are good. Obviously if you have dietary limitations such as a nut or soy or lactose intolerance, you have made your choices.
