This Labour Day Weekend Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre will be home to the Hot and Spicy Food Festival, a four-day event starting Friday Sept 4th and winding down on Sunday.

Toronto’s famous culinary and cultural diversity will be front and centre, with cuisine from all over the world on hand. Local and international chefs will be dishing out extraordinary food, and educators, farmers artists and musicians are all part of the festivities. And the price of admission? Totally free! TAIWANfest Is Back!

This is a great time to live in Toronto, with food festivals and cultural celebrations occurring just about every week. And this coming weekend,  starting Friday August 28 and winding down on Sunday, TAIWANfest will bring all facets of Taiwanese culture to Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre.

“Jia Ba Buei?” in Taiwanese means “Have you eaten yet?” It is the equivalent of “How are you?” in English and is one of the most commonly-used greetings you will hear in Taiwan.
