Summer is upon us and with it comes trips to the beach, the park, summer camps and, yes, for some lucky ones, even summer school! This leaves both us and our little ones with lots of lunches to pack, and lots of time to snack, and let’s face it the choices available to us are not always that great; cheezies, chips, chocolate bars…the vending machines offering these dubious snacking choices are only a loonie toss away.
