Now Magazine’s Reader’s Choice Poll is back and we’re nominated again! You can vote for Fiesta Farms in the Best Green Grocer category, the Best Organic category, Best Fruit category and Best Supermarket category. Voting closes September 12th. Thanks for your support! We recently got a mention in the Globe & Mail’s Business section, in a wonderful interview profiling Barry Martin and his company Hypenotic. They are the company behind this great website and blog. Click here and start making reservations today. We are big supporters of the Stop Community Food Centre and are happy to spread the word about an upcoming fundraiser they have planned. They are organizing a Farm to Fork brunch at Artscape Wychwood Barns for Sunday, July 27th. We live in a city that is mad for brunch, this is your chance to enjoy your favourite meal of the week while also helping the Stop continue their work to bring healthy, organic and local food to people in need. A celebrated New York chef will be coming to Toronto next week, Justin Smilie – formerly of the acclaimed il Buco Alimentari – will be opening a new restaurant in Manhattan this fall and he’s bringing a sneak peek of his menu to our fair city. You try a complimentary canapé-style version of the menu at the Drake Hotel this Monday night between 8-9pm, or you can purchase tickets to the pop-up dinner that he’ll be doing at the Drake One Fifty on Tuesday evening.
