The growth of non-alcoholic beverages is stunning. It’s a phenomenon fuelled by trends like health consciousness, inclusion, the sobriety movement, and huge gains in the quality and selection of non-alcoholic beverages.
Christian Lopez, Fiesta’s Organics Manager, was a skeptic at first. When Seedlip (which happens to be on special this week) first landed on grocery shelves, he thought, “Who’s going to buy this?” Fast forward to today, and the answer is all of us.
Fiesta’s Co-Owner Dino Virgona knew that non-alcoholic beverages would go big, and he wanted to be the first to go big on selection.
With his unstoppable drive, Dino converted Christian into his partner-in-crime. If Joe Furfaro is the King of Panettone, Christian and Dino are the Kings of non-alcoholic bevies.
Today, vendors and distributors say that Fiesta has the best selection in the country. Who are we to argue?
Jump on board with Dry January! But buyer beware: non-alcoholic drinks will quickly become a year-round staple.
