The most beloved salad dressing of all time, according to this poll, is now attainable in a dry form.
Why would you want a powdered version of this delicious dressing you ask? Well, just think of the possibilities; as a rub on chicken, sprinkled on buttered popcorn or pizza crust, as a baked potato garnish, tossed with buttered noodles. Trust us, this is going to become your new best friend.
The recipe is so simple, we cribbed the one from Tasting Table as a jumping off point, then made a few tweaks of our own. Namely fresh cracked black pepper and just a smidge of celery salt. Celery salt is one of the je ne sais quoi ingredients that make the original Hidden Valley Ranch so addictive.
Ranch Dust
Ingredients
¼ cup buttermilk powder
1½ tablespoons onion powder
½ tablespoon dried chives
½ tablespoon dried parsley
½ tablespoon dried dill
½ tablespoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon cracked black pepper ½ tablespoons onion powder
½ teaspoon, just a smidge of celery salt
Directions
Whisk it all together and store in an airtight container in the pantry.
