Fiesta Gardens is looking for seasonal staff!
Seasonal Retail Associate (Garden Gnome Extraordinaire)
Full + part time (April–July 1st)
We’re looking for friendly, patient and approachable hard-workers who can follow detailed instructions, work both independently and in a group setting in a fast-paced, pollen-filled environment. You’d be surprised, the Garden Centre gets pretty animated in the summer.
The right person for this gig will:
- Enjoy working outdoors and in all weather conditions
- Have a flexible enough schedule to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Be able to lift at least 40lbs. Garden stuff is heavy and besides stocking the floor, you’ll need to do things like help customers take their purchases to their cars. Who needs a gym when you can load bags of triple-mix?
You’ll be doing things like:
- General maintenance
- Watering plant material
- Helping customers carry their purchases to their vehicles
- Loading, unloading, and stocking products
- Answering questions for our fabulous customers
Retail experience and/or plant knowledge is helpful but not mandatory.
