It’s that time of the year again, time to vote. No, not for you-know-who… we’re talking about Now Magazine’s annual Reader’s Choice, your opportunity to vote for your favourite grocery store, and much more.

Yes, yours truly, Fiesta Farms is nominated in the Best Grocery Store category, along with four other supermarkets, from family owned businesses to the mammoth No Frills, a subsidiary of the George Weston empire that had revenues of over 48 billion in 2017. Is bigger always better? We don’t think so. And this is your time to show us how you really feel.

Now Magazine is the independently owned free alternative weekly newspaper that has been around since 1981, and still has the finger on the pulse of all things Toronto. Available in newspaper boxes all over the city, its annual Reader’s Choice survey allows readers to vote for their favourite Toronto leaders, groups, and businesses in categories like Food & Drink, Shopping & Services, Art & Books and much more. Filling out the survey is a fun way to while away a little time and maybe get you better acquainted with some of the awesome services that are available in this city.

Is this the best bread in Toronto?

We’d be remiss if we didn’t point out that one of our most popular suppliers, The Spent Goods Company  also made the shortlist and is nominated as one of the best breads in Toronto. We knew it all along. Congratulations to Dihan Chandra and the entire staff at The Spent Goods Company.

To vote, just click on the Shopping & Services category and scroll down until you come to Best Grocery Store. To vote for Spent Goods Bread, click on the Food & Drink category and scroll down to Best Bakery/Bread.

To be honest, we feel the love every time you walk into our store, and this is a fun opportunity to claim a little bragging rights, and let the rest of the city know what we’ve known for years! Voting is open now and closes September 26, so don’t delay…or else this kitten might come after you!
